Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how UPOS Media handles information when users connect authorized social media accounts and use the service for content workflow and publishing operations.
1. Information we may process
- Platform account identifiers, usernames, display names, and basic profile information.
- OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, authorization status, and credential references.
- Media files, captions, metadata, publishing jobs, schedules, and delivery status.
- Publishing receipts, provider responses, errors, quota information, and audit logs.
- Performance or insight metrics where the platform and permissions allow access.
2. How information is used
Information is used to authenticate authorized accounts, route jobs to the correct destination, prepare and deliver media, verify provider responses, maintain publishing state, collect permitted performance information, refresh credentials, and enforce account boundaries.
3. Social media credentials
UPOS Media does not require social media passwords for normal API authorization. Connected platforms generally provide OAuth tokens or similar credentials after explicit authorization.
4. Media staging
Some platforms require media to be retrievable from an HTTPS URL. UPOS Media may temporarily stage media in private object storage and create time-limited access URLs for provider ingestion.
5. Third parties
UPOS Media interacts with social media APIs, identity providers, cloud storage services, and infrastructure providers. Those services process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Data retention
Operational records may be retained as reasonably necessary for publishing state, troubleshooting, auditability, security, analytics, and compliance. Temporary media may be removed sooner.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards including account-boundary checks, credential separation, restricted references, and controlled authorization flows. No system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Choices and revocation
You may revoke a third-party platform authorization through that platform's settings where available. Revocation may prevent further publishing or data collection for that account.
9. Data deletion requests
Deletion-related requests may be sent to privacy@uposmedia.com. Identity or authorization verification may be required.
10. Children's privacy
UPOS Media is not intended for use by children and is designed for authorized content operators, brands, creators, and account administrators.
11. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated as UPOS Media evolves or platform requirements change.
12. Contact
Privacy questions may be sent to privacy@uposmedia.com.
